Shin stood in the same spot infront of Helen before the demon took over once more, and controlled SHin's body as he struggled to summon the fire.

Miia broke her eye contact with Helen and scrambled to the side, throwing herself into Shin's side as Helen screamed and there was an explosion of light. Miia felt herself get thrown back against the door and her breath was knocked out of her.

Shin's head hit the wall and he passed out, trying to figure out what was going on.

Miia blinked several times and saw that Helen was gone. Damn it, she thought. She escaped... but not without injuries to her organs. Suddenly, she felt something cut into her side and she looked down. Her eyes widened when she saw a large knife sticking out of her side, blood dripping onto the floor.

Marluxia simply shook his head and wondered what was going on when his eyes opened up slowly. He saw Miia, and a red color all over her side. When he regained normal vision,he saw the knife and screamed for a doctor. He quickly staggered over to her side, and held her tightly.

"Why? Why did you come!?"

A doctor came stumbling into the room and examined the wound, pulling the knife out of her. He grabbed some bandages and started to wind them around it, but Miia collapsed.

When Miia passed out, Shin began to tremble. He stood up, and ran out of the room down the hall. Kei finally woke up, turns out his shoulder is what broke the screen, and not his head.

Miia's mind was wandering through a black world of fog, lost in her own world.

The doctor placed her in a bed, and Kei sat by her side. He called out her name constantly, hoping she would ake up.

Shin was standing outside of the hospital when he leapt into his car, and took off down the street. The beginning of the end was starting.

Miia's eyes slowly opened and she saw Kei sitting next to her. "What happened?"

Kei was relieved to see her awake, and atted her on the shoulder.

"Well, you scared Helen away, but unfortunately, when you made Shin move out of the way, you were stabbed by a knife somehow. Shin became enraged, and took off after Helen."

Kei grabbed her arm as to hold her down incase she tried to jump up.

"We'll search for him after your wound gets better."

She sighed and said, "It won't take long. All I need to heal is a glass of water."

Kei handed her a cup of water, and then looked at her with suspicion.

"So, your like Helen and Shin? Cool."

She nodded and took a sip of the water, feeling the blood stop and the wound starting to close. "My power is ice."

He chuckled and nodded. He got up and looked out the window, hoping to see Shin, but he was nowhere to be seen. He turned back to Miia, and then sighed slightly.

"I don't know where Shin could have ran off to."

Taking another sip, she felt the wound close completly, the flesh and skin healing with the help of the water. She sat up and walked over to stand next to him. "Rowan will know..."

Kei remembered the name Rowan. The ghost kid who tried to help Shin settle his mind, but he highly doubted even Rowan would know. He sighed, and nodded before walking out of the room and stepped into the elevator.

Miia followed him, her eyes narrowing a little. "You know of Rowan then?"

He nodded slowly at her comment as he pressed the button to the lobby floor.

"Shin talked to him not to long ago. He called me nd asked me to watch after you after the two tlked."

The elevator door opened, and he walked out to his car. He unlocked the doors and stepped in. He sat back and cut on the car before looking over at Miia.

"Before he left, SHin wanted me to ask you something."

Kei sighed before looking down at the steering wheel. He hated hearing himself have to say this, but he made a promise.

"What would you do if he died?"
