She hugged him and whispered, "Don't call yourself pathetic. I didn't beat that thing either. It fled cause it knew that it was outnumbered."

He shook his head, and struggled to his feet despite the wound the was across his chest. He stumbled over to the padio door, and looked out of it before falling to his knees in pain.

"It could have killed you, and all because i was too weak."

She hugged him and shook her head. "You're wrong..." The elevator door opened and a doctor came running in, bending down in front of Shin. Feeling the wound, he took out a towel and started to wipe away some of the blood. "Hold still."

Shin pushed the doctor off of him, and then pulled away from Miia. A tear strolled down his left cheek, and he noticed the elevator door open.

"I don't deserve to live."

Miia grabbed his hand and said, "No... you do deserve to live. Please..." The doctor just watched them, waiting.

Suddenly, one last memory came into Shin's mind. One memory that changed everything, his view of himself, Miia, and what just happened. He lowered his head and looked at the ground before walking towards the elevator door.

"I'm a traitor.... i'm the reason your life is filled with so much pain and agony."

Miia sighed a little and pulled him back to her. "Just listen to me. You aren't a traitor and you don't deserve to die."

He pulled away from her and then turned only to see a mirror. When he looked at the mirror he became disgusted with himself and punched it, shattering all of the glass.

"I got all of my memories back Miia. I'm a killer, a traitor."

His hand became drenched in his own blood, and he fell o his knees, another tear streaming out of the corner of his left eye, rolling gently down his cheek.

"I was going to kill you.... all for some stupid diary."

She let him go and blinked, looking down at him. She backed away a little, giving him a strange look. "Who are you really?"

He remembered the marking on his chest, and then remembered what would happen if he were to die. 'I have to do this, for her sake...' He stood up and turned around to face her.

"I'm a demon sent to kill you. And now that you know, i must do so!"

He pulled a gun out of his leg hol;ster and shot the doctor and then took aim on Miia.

She held up her hands, shaking a little as he aimed the gun at her. "Shin..."

He gave her a cold look as he rocked his head a little, and his voice had a chinese like accent to it as he spoke. His blue devilish eyes locked onto her, and he slowly tightened his grip on the gun.

"Goodbye, Miia."

She took a deep breath and dropped her hands, closing her eyes. "Go ahead," she said, letting her head drop to her chest.

Shin's hands began to shake uncontrollaby, and he dropped the gun. He fell to his knees before looking at the gun which no layed on the floor.

"Why? Why didn't you kill me?"

She slowly opened her eyes and glanced up at him through her eyelashes. "I wouldn't kill you... I couldn't."

He started to shake before suddenly he couldn't control his body anymore. He picked up the gun and placed it up to his mark. His hands tightened around the trigger as he struggled emotionally on what to do.

He let go of the gun, and started to cry uncontrollably. HThe doctor finally stood up to notice he hadn't been shot at al, but was rather fainted from fright.

She hugged him close and took the cloth from the doctor, starting to clean Shin's wound. "Its okay... Its okay..."

He looked up at her, confused and full of sorrow. He felt his heart and wound aching with pain, and finally whispered something.

"Why? After all i have done, why do you care about me?"
