Shin looked through his phone, and he recieved a text message. He read it quickly, and then placed the phone back in the middle between the two.

"You'll be staying with a friend of mine."

"A friend?" she asked, watching as the snowy landscape wizzed by.

Shin came to a stop infront of a large house, and at the front door stood Kei, his brother. Shin got out of the car, and opened the door for her, and grabbed her bags.

"Just for a while."

She got out and nodded a hello to Kei. "Where will you be?" she asked.

Shin closed his eyes, he didn't ant to lie, but if he told her the truth, she'd never allow him to leave. He sighed sadly, and pulled her bags out.

"I need to go to China for a little business. I'll be back in a week or so."

She took her bags from him and gave him a skeptical look. "Sure..."

Shin sighed, and kissed her deeper than he has ever before.

"I promise you, i'll come straight back."

She kissed him back and whispered, "You'd better keep that promise." Brushing his cheek, she gave him a farewell smile and headed toward Kei.

Shin waved slightly before stepping into his car. He took off driving, heading towards the mansion. He would stop by there and learn as much as he could, and then search for that werewolf.

Miia watched him drive off, but shook off her sad look and turned to Kei. "Hello."

Shin was lost, and didn't know what to do. If he killed the monster, but it managed to kill him at the sametime, then there is no telling what would happen to Miia.

Kei showed her to the room that she would sleep her and she nodded, setting her bag on the bed. Sitting down, she looked out the window, lost in her own thoughts.

Shin sighed and turned on the rdio. On the news they said something that he could not get ou of his head.

"Yesterday, Shin Sengokumusou was seen making out with a young girl, and boy did it catch his fans attention. His sals have hit the ground. All because he's dating someone, below legal age. It's just wrong."

Shin cut off the radio, but when he looked back up, he was knocked unconsious. A truck had hitten his car, and now all he heard were screams.

Noticing a drop of blood on her skirt, she took it off and pulled on a pair of jeans, sighing as she lay on her side, looking out the window.

When Shin awoke, a docter was standing above him, examining his body carefully. He was obviously in the hospital, and was receiving medical care. Luckily he only reveived a small bruise on his leg from the crash.

"Do you have any family we can call?"

Shin laid there for a moment, before he handed the doctor his phone with Kei's number on it.

Miia had fallen asleep, her head resting on her arm when she heard Kei walk past her room. Her eyes fluttered open and she sat up, shaking off her sleep.

Shin sighed heavily as the docter called Kei, and then he looked at the ceiling. In the back of his mind he was confused. He didn't understand how he escaped without hardly a scratch on him.

Miia sat up and straightened out her shirt, hearing Kei walking around. Sighing, she left her room, closing the door behind her.

Shin looked at the ceiling, when he thought he saw a figure standing at the doorway. Suddenly he passed out and a large wound appeared across the other wound that the demon left on his chest from earlier. The doctor couldn't believe what he saw, and quickly started to tend to the wound. Finally Kei answered the pone, and the docter spoke with a voice full of panic.

"Your brother is gravely injured, please, come to the hospital, he's been asking for you and his supposedly girlfriend Miia."

Miia heard Kei call for her and she came downstairs. "Shin is hurt," he explained, running out the front door. Miia followed him, getting into his car as they drove to the hospital.

Shin dreamt of nightmares. One after anoher they came into his mind. Ech dealing with someone close to him dieing.

As soon as Miia entered the room, she could feel how cold the air was and she knew what was happening. "Do you have everything you need in here?" she asked the doctor, looking around the room.

The doctor nodded, and then walked over to Shin. He touched his forehead, and shook his head slowly.

"Ever since that ghost appeared, he's been burning up. I don't know what to do anymore."

Miia gave him an even stare and asked, "How do you know it is a ghost?" Her power flowed out and ice spread across the floor and up the walls, freezing the door.

The doctor became scared as he fell into a corner, and then Shin woke up feeling the immense power. He whispered her name, calling out to her weakly.

"Miia, is that you?"
